With SR ivocap, chemical shrinkage is not an issue. The SR Ivocap system is based on a special injection technique that is capable of compensating for chemical shrinkage. Controlled heat/pressure polymerization compensates acrylic shrinkage by pressured feeding of additional material.

As the materials are supplied in predosed capsules and mechanically mixed in the Cap Vibrator, optimum material properties can be achieved without contact of the monomer with the skin.

Economical use of material
No material has to be discarded. If stored according to the instructions, residual material can be kept for up to five days.

The SR Ivocap System permits users to fabricate precisely fitting dentures using a methylmethacrylate-based material. After mixing. the material is injected into the flask under pressure.

During the entire polymerization process, the pressure is maintained at 6 bar to ensure continuous pressure feeding of additional material.

The SR Ivocap system allows the fabrication of excellently fitting methylmethacrylate-based dentures. After mixing, the material is injected into the flask under pressures. Constant pressure (6 bar) during polymerization assures continuous flow of material. Since the denture base material is continuously injected, the shrinkage of the material is optimally compensated.

Pressure Apparatus

The Cap Vibrator provides reliable and efficient mixing of large IVOCLAR capsules. Its design and operation assure homogeneous mixing of pre-dosed materials. Its hood provides optimum safety.
